A season used to end at its date. Now it asks first.
Discipler first
Two weeks before the date, the discipler is asked "Another season together?" and to read the commitment again at their next meeting. The person they walk with is asked only after a yes, so nobody reads a no after their own yes.
A hold, not a lapse
If nobody answers, the walk goes on for two weeks after its date with the questions still coming, and whoever suggested it is told. Silence from a busy discipler is rarely a no.
Two more weeks
When the hold is up, whoever suggested the walk is asked once: end it, or give it two more weeks. If nothing is chosen, it ends with the usual emails.
Exploring to whole life
When someone on an exploring walk comes to faith, the discipler can say so. A pastor reads the whole-life commitment with them and marks it on Walking with; both then say yes, and the same walk carries on as whole life from week one.
The questions, read
Turning Walking with on now asks you to read the weekly questions too, as you already read the commitments.
