Introductions
When a person with a gift and a ministry that needs it line up, GiftWell suggests an introduction and tracks whether it was made.

How a suggestion appears
When a ministry says it needs a gift (Where we need people) and a person who shared their result with the pastoral team has that gift in their lead band, is free to serve and is not held back for age, GiftWell suggests introducing them. The reason is written in words: Hospitality is in her lead band and the welcome team needs it. Each person is suggested at most once per ministry.
What you do with it
- Introduced. You sent the email, made the call, or said hello on Sunday. The introduction is marked and dated, with who did it.
- Not now. Dismiss it with a reason if you like. It will not come back for that pairing unless you ask.
- Open the person, read their page, and decide.
Nothing on this page contacts anyone. An introduction is a note for your team that it happened, so two leaders do not both reach out, and so the digest can list the ones still open.
Who sees what
Leaders see introductions for the ministries they lead. Pastors and up see all of them. Nobody marked do-not-contact is ever suggested.
