What GiftWell never does

The promises made to the people who take the assessment, in one list, with the switch each one is kept by.

Never ranks gifts

Scores come with a margin, and gifts within it are a band, not a list. No screen, export, brief or agent ever puts someone's gifts in order, assigns a maturity score, or describes a person by one gift.

Never shares what was not shared

A person who does not tick share with the pastoral team is do-not-contact: never in exports, introductions, digests, AI briefs, agents or Planning Center. Pastors and up may still open the result in the app, and the page says what the person chose.

Never lets the private answer leave the page

Something I have walked through is read by the pastoral team on the person's page and nowhere else: not exports (except the owner's sealed file), not CSV, not briefs, not agents, not signals, not Planning Center.

Never scores gifts of the Spirit, and never keeps them without a second yes

They are recorded as experience, kept only when the person ticks the separate box, and leave GiftWell only as names and frequencies, never as words.

Never exposes someone who may be under 18

With ask age on, anyone who may be a minor is shown to leaders as an id and a date, cannot be placed, introduced, briefed, exported or written to Planning Center, and is excluded from every count that could identify them.

Never lets a chart point at one person

Any slice below a handful is hidden, viewers see fewer than 3, and the across-churches comparison uses percentages of band names only.

Never keeps results longer than you said

Auto-erase removes scores and words after the period your church chose, which members are told on the assessment. A member can erase their own result at any time, and it is gone from backups within 30 days.

Never contacts a member

Nothing a team member or an agent does in GiftWell sends a message to a member. Introductions, placements and conversations are notes for the team. The only emails a member ever receives are the ones they asked for: their private link, a sign-in code, a reminder they ticked.

Never sees your card, and never sells anything

Payment is a Stripe link. GiftWell has no advertising, no tracking on the embed, and no third party that sees results except the AI provider your church itself chose, for the words you chose to send.
